After suffering a huge blow from the severe rain and thunderstorms last week, Miami Beach is hurting. Help keep our coast clear by collecting the trash and recyclables that clutter the pristine shores of Miami Beach. Commissioner Jerry Libbin teams up with Nikki Beach for Clean Up Day, a premiere volunteer event focused on the sands of South Beach. Join Miami locals and South of Fifth neighbors on June 20 from 4pm to 6pm for a few hours of eco-friendly fun.
Following suit of green-conscious cities around the nation, Libbin and Nikki Beach believe in keeping our beaches clean, as they receive constant publicity through several travel programs dictating the best beach spots in the world. Libbin applauds Nikki Beach for its proactive efforts to keep the beaches of Miami clean stating, “I am very pleased that Nikki Beach is demonstrating leadership in our community and participating and sponsoring in this beach clean-up.”
Show your concern for the environment with other residents by meeting on the sand behind Nikki Beach where all cleaning materials will be provided by the city. Complimentary food and drinks will also be served at the location right after clean up. Volunteers can also relax post clean up with Nikki Beach’s 2-4-1 Mojitos. Be sure to sign up soon and join us for this important day!
