After many years, “La fête de la Musique” is exported to several countries. There is no need to prove its success and that’s the reason why, with the launch of FAUBOURG TV, we are organizing MIAMUSIC 2009 within the framework of “la fête de la musique” in Miami. The recording of the event will be produced by Faubourg TV that will then offer the broadcast to different French and American TV channels. The 20th of June at night in Florida (USA), will already be the 21st in France. The “fête de la musique” will invade Miami.
The music will be varied like the cultures represented in Miami. French, Latin, Caribbean and American Artists will perform live on stage. The location we have chosen to celebrate MIAMUSIC 2009 is the Miami Convention Center, located in the heart of South Florida in worldrenowned Miami Beach. Situated only minutes from the Miami International Airport, downtown Miami, and the Port of Miami. Spanning four city blocks of sunny South Beach, the Center is within easy walking distance of the Art Deco District and America’s most spectacular beaches.
We expect anywhere from 25,000 to 30,000 people throughout the entire day.
The list of guests is not finished yet, but we have a verbal agreement with many famous artists. To host this event, Anthony Kavanagh would be a great option, thanks to his Canadian-Haitian roots and talent as an entertainer. He is the perfect Ambassador for the night. He will be hosting along with Claire Nevers, hostess in the French channel M6 and a known Latin-American host.
The location of the event will have an area set up with a vendors and sponsors village where we’ll sell French and local products (beverages, food, our sponsors products,…). And for the children, a kids village of 4,500 SqFt with inflatables and games. Local artists, DJ’s and entertainers will bring rhythm to the event. Games will be organized on stage and before the concert, and gifts will be given away by our sponsors.
Faubourg TV is the new French TV channel based in Miami (Florida) and will officially launch in Spring 2009 through the Internet and broadcasted through a satellite network in Fall 2009.
Dedicated to the 20 million of Francophone and Francophiles, our objective is to promote French culture in the United States and at the same time, provide expatriates the flavors they need to feel closer to their country, France.
Besides the repeat broadcast of shows and series that they already know and which they miss, Faubourg TV will also produce and broadcast original programs.
Music, Sports, Culture, Talk Shows and News will be included on our program timetable.
