Miami is ready, are you? A collaborative project among Segafredo Brickell, the City of Miami, Toys for Tots Foundation, and the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association, presents Mille Miglia Sundays! Mille Miglia Sundays is a fun family day filled with great food and delicious drinks designed to attract the largest congregation of ultra exotic automobiles in the Southeast United States to raise money for charity. The launch date for this event is Sunday, October 19th, 2008 and the event will continue every Sunday. Details are listed below.
Who: Segafredo Brickell along with City of Miami, Toys for Tots and Florida Caribbean Cruise Association
What: Starting on Oct 19th, 2008, Segafredo Brickell will pay homage to the Mille Miglia, Italy’s infamous road race of the last mid century. Historic races as well as recent Grand Prix races and Rallies will be replayed throughout the day on flat screen TVs. The car meet will take place Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Segafredo Brickell. Parking space occupying 2 city blocks is donated weekly by the city of Miami to allow for the exotic machines to show off their beauty. The parking fee is $10 per vehicle. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Toy for Tots Foundation and The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association toys fundraiser program. Additionally, the Segafredo Brickell family will donate a percentage of their food sales to the cause.
